I’m happy to inform you guys that Kevin is hard at work at the 2nd edition of the German version of his book with the addition of at least 50 new combos (pics and detailed description) but the better news is that all these will make it onto a all new book or the US market. A more morph and combo related book focusing on the extreme combos that have been created in the last few years, many of which were first created at NERD. Keep your eyes open for that, it’s going to be awesome…
Lavender albino plus Coral Glow? Hmmmm…. I wonder if anyone has done that yet
Going out to NERD again on Wednesday (weather permitting) and when I’m there i will try to do a blog post describing what the atmosphere is like in such a crazy place right at the beginning of the ball python breeding season. I can only imagine how crazy it must be when you have so many animals and so many possibilities. My biggest fear would be missing a certain combo just because i forgot i had to possibility to make it. With Kevin being as crazy as he is and running around like a mad man most of the time i just don’t see how he can slow down long enough to figure this all out. Obviously it works because he does make some crazy stuff but…. Could his hyperactive demeanor possibly hurt his ability to be 10 years ahead of everyone else as opposed to the (at least) 5 years ahead he is now?
One question i really cant wait to know the answer to is… Where does the magpie project go next? And will it ever become a “common” combo or stay as one of his never ending personal projects. It would be a shame if it didn’t since it really is THAT nice of a ball python. Any way, I’m off to try to edit some video for you guys and maybe get some rest.
Welcome to my very own NERD blog. this is a spot where I can post pretty much anything I want but mostly it will serve as a space to give you all an outsiders view of this place. Trust me, it’s not the way most of you imagine it. I will also use this spot to give u sneak peaks at projects that Kevin is working on and new combos that hatch out. Keep an eye on this spot….trust me, it’s going to be interesting!
